How these resources are made
Most of the guides on this site start with publicly available coaching material — a podcast, an open gym, a talk. That material is transcribed, studied, and then distilled and reframed through one lens: what does this mean for an Australian junior or domestic coach's next session? The result is original synthesis and commentary — not a reproduction of anyone's work. A few resources, like Connected Basketball and Game Flow, are original work written directly for the junior coach; where they draw on anything outside the site, it's credited below the same way.
Some principles we hold to:
- Credit always. Every resource names the source it draws on, and this page lists them all.
- Short, attributed quotes only — used for education and commentary, never wholesale reproduction.
- Free and non-commercial. No sign-up, no paywall, no ads.
- Unofficial. Nothing here is affiliated with or endorsed by the people and organisations credited below.

Playbooks and coaching books published by teams and coaches at professional, college and international level, curated and reviewed by Ravi Sundram. The plays in them are studied for what a junior team can use, kept to single actions that are read rather than memorised, and redrawn as schematic diagrams for this site.

PlayHQ
The competition-management platform used by basketball associations across Australia. Games scored live in PlayHQ produce a play-by-play, which Game Flow reads to find the runs, scoring droughts and timeouts that decided a game.
